Webinar at a glance

International Webinar on Smart Material Temperature-induced Shape Memory Alloys (IWSTMA-2021). will be an engaging online event where World’s round and eminent industry and academic expert speakers will deliver the presentation to a large audience who participate by submitting questions, responding to polls, and using other available interactive tools. It is an event held on the Shape memory alloys (SMAs) has the unique ability to recover large deformations in response to thermal, mechanical, and/or magnetic stimuli. This behaviour occurs by virtue of a crystallo-graphically reversible martensitic phase transformation between a high-symmetry parent austenite phase and a low-symmetry martensite phase..

Features of the webinar

The objective features of Shape Memory Alloys (SMAs) represent a unique material class exhibiting peculiar properties like the shape memory effect, the superelasticity associated with damping capabilities, high corrosion and extraordinary fatigue resistance. Due to their potential use in an expanding variety of technological applications, an increasing interest in the study of the SMAs has been recorded in the research community during the previous decades.
